Picked up a new toy the other day! A '69 VW rat. What a gas saver. It has an 1800 bus motor, which gives it twice the horsepower as original. That's enough for now to scoot it down the road just fine. It needs some love, but it's a lotta fun to drive.

Here's a few pics of the VW "short bus" interior I recently did. The bus was a 1978 passenger van w/windows and a side sliding door. The sliding door was removed and the body shortened the width of the door (about 4 feet). All rear windows were removed and sheet metal welded in. The front doors have been "suicided" and door handles shaved. A Webasto electric sliding sunroof was installed in the roof. The interior features all hand crafted custom panels, right down to the armrests.

Well the Christmas Holidays are over and everything went great! Got to see the whole family, except my brother in Florida. Sure wish he could move back. Still miss Mom, Christmas isn't the same without her. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful and thoughtful son. It's cool Mom and lil'D shared the same birthday, that way I still have something to be very happy about on the 26th. Shame all kids aren't like him. Anyway, It was fun, now on to the New Years celebrations! Hope all is well and have a great 2007!
